Dining Club
The Dining Club’s Purpose:
· To provide a social outing
for those who frequently eat alone
· To provide a venue for clients
to enjoy a nutritious meal at a reasonable price.
At the present time we have four participating
restaurants. Every Tuesday we go to New West Fish and Chips, Wednesday’s
are rotated between Douglas College, Richman Chinese and Couzzies.
Thursdays we dine at La Rustica. We are looking at other restaurants
for Wednesday’s only.
The prices of dinners are $6.50 at
New West Fish and Chips and $7.50 - $8.50 at the other restaurants.
Free transport is provided using the
Senior Services’ bus. The drivers are experienced HandyDart
drivers and they can assist you on and off the bus. A volunteer
is also on the bus to assist you and to collect the money.
